We’re excited to announce a special one-time Carers Forum taking place on Monday 30th September, in Maidstone from 11am – 3pm. This forum is a unique opportunity for unpaid carers who support individuals living with dementia in North Kent, West Kent, Medway, and Swale to collaborate with ADSS and help us identify our strengths in supporting carers, and areas where we can enhance our services. The event will feature guest speakers and interactive workshops for carers to participate in.

The forum will provide a welcoming space where carers can discuss challenges, exchange tips, and receive valuable information and support. We understand the significant role you play in the lives of those you care for, and this event is designed to offer a supportive environment where your voice can be heard.

We recognize that attending an event like this may present challenges, so we’re offering several forms of assistance to ensure that as many carers as possible can participate. If needed, support for the person you care for can be arranged, tailored to their specific needs. Additionally, we are exploring options for providing transport to the event, depending on the level of interest expressed by participants.
