On Sunday 10th December, we enjoyed our annual Christmas trip to Rochester. The day kicked off at 10 am as we set out on our journey, indulging in a cheerful sing-along on the coach despite the slightly damp weather. The spirit remained high, and everyone had a wonderful time.
From 10:30 to 11:45, everyone had free time to explore. Some ventured into the market, craft tent, or cozy cafes, indulging in people-watching and the festive atmosphere. Despite the rain, the enthusiasm prevailed.
We had a delicious dinner at Ye Arrow, where the staff provided excellent service, and the food was superb. Despite the heavy rain, individuals had free time until we met up again.
Once we arrived at the church hall, we were greeted with hot drinks and festive decor. The highlight of the evening was the captivating performance by magician Tim Decker. The atmosphere remained festive as a raffle took place, accompanied by delicious mince pies and shortbread.
The real party commenced with singing and dancing, featuring entertainment from the talented local drama group Razzmatazz from Medway, who have been coming every year to entertain our clients. The joyous celebration continued until it was time to head back home.
