Singing for the Brain®

Singing for the brain is all about building well-being and confidence for people living with memory problems.

Singing for the Brain is designed for people with dementia and their carer’s, giving them a structured singing session to stimulate the brain and give carers and those they care for the opportunity to share an interesting activity that they can do and enjoy together.

People living with dementia who may have difficulty finding words or expressing what they want to say often remember and sing songs from start to finish and can even learn new songs.

Non-singers are most welcome! The group sit together and no one is identified by illness which creates an environment where a precious sense of community may be restored.
